Key Stage 3 and 4

Outdoor Education - Learning Through Adventure

In addition to the valuable personal and social development outcomes that adventurous activities offer, our outdoor education programme can incorporate learning objectives from the Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) curriculum. A variety of subjects can be covered to bring a new meaning to them. Why not develop numeracy through a mountain climb or literacy through a gorge walk? We can bring science and geography to life and inspire an interest in history through an underground adventure. If you have a particular subject area or aspect of the curriculum you would like to focus on, we can tailor our activities to reinforce classroom learning.

We create a learning environment that inspires and educates secondary pupils, with programmes created by our qualified teachers, along with our resident outdoor professionals.

GCSE and BTEC - Adventure For Learning

For those schools who wish to focus on particular activities for either GCSE P.E. or the BTec First in Sport, we can put together a programme to meet the exam board specifications. Our staff are experienced at delivering both the training and assessment requirements for climbing, kayaking, orienteering and trekking, so that pupils can not only go back to school with memorable experiences but a mark towards their GCSE P.E. as well.
