Adventure Activities

Arete can offer your family your own private instructor for the day. The flexibility of having this instructor allows you to participate in activities that your whole family wish to enjoy.

Water based: canoeing, white water kayaking, sea kayaking, gorge walking, coasteering
Land based: climbing, scrambling, hill walking, underground

Family Accommodation
with Exclusive Use
Arete Outdoor Centre is a purpose built activity centre that can be hired out for groups in dormitory style bedrooms.
We have three accommodation options for group sizes from 10 up to 100 in size. Each accommodation area is hired out for exclusive use and can be used on a catered or self catered basis. We can provide accommodation only packages too. More information can be seen on our accommodation page.
