Abseiling is a popular and exciting activity on the local cliffs around North Wales. It involves trusting the rope and lowering yourself over the edge. We use a variety of natural cliffs for the activity that can either be easy angled or steep and high. We tailor the activity for each individual group so they get the right level of adventure. Abseiling provides the opportunity to be in exposed positions that you never thought would be possible.

Feel your heart skip a beat near the edge, then the immense satisfaction of completion

"I was really scared at first but I really wanted to give it a go. It was great when I reached the bottom!"
Callum Grove

Abseiling Descent

Exciting and enthralling but very safe and controlled. Our expert instructors will set up the abseil rope so that the participants can control their own descent while also having a safety rope so that the instructor can takeover if required.

Our introductory abseils are easy angled with friendly starts. For those with more nerve there are many longer and exposed options.

Personal Challenge

This is an activity where, time and time again, we see individuals who are initially unsure and nervous, step forward to achieve more than they thought possible, encouraged by those around. An amazing feeling of satisfaction and achievement for all.

We are located near Llanberis in North Wales, so within 10 minutes drive we have ideal beginner venues around Llyn Padarn and more advanced climbs for all levels in the Llanberis Pass – the valley between Snowdon and the Glyder mountain range.  Popular slate climbing venues are based in the quarries overlooking Llanberis allowing for interesting exploration around the old quarry workings too.  A short drive to the ever sunny crags of Anglesey or Tremadog allow us to find dry Welsh rock even on those days when the mountains are shrouded in mist.
