Summer Camps

Come along on one of our activity residential courses in North Wales for a fantastic week of action packed fun. No parents required!

We are flexible on the activities we offer, tailoring the content to the group attending the course. Choose between our multi-activity week or our rock or water based specialised weeks.

If you fancy having a go at a wide variety of activities, come along on one of our multi-activity weeks. You will discuss activity options with your instructor and fellow course members to choose from the wide range of activities the centre has to offer. You might go coasteering one day and underground the next, go rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, canyoning and still manage to climb a mountain! If you want a wide variety of activities then this is the option for you.

If you like the idea of developing your skills in a more focussed direction then book a place on one of our rock or water activity weeks. The focus of the rock week will still be on fun and friendship, but with activities revolving around the theme of rock climbing. You and your fellow course members will obviously get the chance to do plenty of rock climbing and will be able to explore different venues sampling a variety of rock types and climbing styles over a number of days. But whilst the focus of the week will be on rock climbing you might choose a mountain scramble, some bouldering, an abseil or even an underground adventure as well. And if the weather is hot and sunny you might even choose to get wet, combining rock and water through some coasteering, gorge walking or canyoning!

Multi-Pitch or Lead Climbing

We can take you on longer multi-pitch routes either in the mountains or on the sea cliffs. Equally if you wish to lead climb for real on traditional gear this can be added on to the Rock Activity Week.  As both of these options can only be done at low ratios there is an extra £120 supplement for 2 days of multi-pitch and/or lead climbing.

If you prefer watersports to climbing then our water activity week is for you. We have a wide variety of boats including sea kayaks, sit-on kayaks, white water kayaks, general purpose kayaks and canoes. Everything you could possibly want to explore the waters of North Wales, graduating from the gentle lakes to the white water, sea and surf on our doorstep. You will be sure to visit some amazing places, develop your paddling skills and make friends with other adventurous people. And there is no rule to say that you have to use boats to explore the water, so if you fancy some bodyboarding, coasteering, gorge walking or canyoning during your week then we’ll put the boats away and have fun without them!

There is dormitory style accommodation in our centre for a comfortable nights sleep with communal areas to relax in during the evenings. All meals will be provided during your stay.

We use fully qualified and experienced staff to run all the activities during the week. In the evening there will be a supervisor staying at the centre to oversee evening activities and be on hand overnight. Pick-ups can be arranged from local train and bus stations in Bangor, Gwynedd. During the week our mini-buses will transport the participants to all outdoor venues.
