Pre Course Activities & Learning
At home pupil outdoor activity sheets.
At Arete we have created some pre-course activities that we hope will be useful for schools, before you attend a residential with ourselves. These are linked to our Arete Educational Benefits that can be found on our website.
Some activities cover basic everyday skills that pupils will use at Arete, others are activities which are prominent at the centre currently and will give pupils a background of information before they attend.
The nature of the activities are open ended to allow for pupils to proceed with their own level of challenge. They are also self explanatory so should need little input from an adult.
Please use these activities in any way that you wish. The Arete team thought that they could be used in class or as a homework activity. They are all stand alone and therefore can be completed however is seen fit. There is an overview table of the activities to help with quick navigation.
