We offer multi activity courses and activity days for Youth groups, Scouts and Cadet groups. These courses are tailored for your group and can include any of our outdoor activities on offer.

You can book an activity only course or a fully catered residential for your group of young people. We have a range of activities including rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, underground, coasteering, gorge and mountaineering. A more detailed list can be seen in our activity section of the website.
We provide personalised courses, changing the content and venue location to suit your groups’ needs. We make sure the level of adventure suits the experience and needs of the individual young people. We can also be flexible on dates, fitting in with your groups scheduling.
Outdoor Education

We can incorporate a range of outdoor learning objectives into the adventure activities to enhance the experience.
Key areas would include leadership, team building and resilience. Many of the activities involve and element of journeying, so adding to the commitment. The resultant high when the endpoint is achieved is then much more memorable. We involve all the team members in the activities and encourage their full participation to ensure success for the group.

Residential Experience
for Youth & Uniform
Combine fun and adventure filled outdoor activities with using our catered accommodation. We have 110 beds in dormitory rooms for the young people and separate leader rooms. The site is split into three areas so you will have your own exclusive rooms and communal space. On site we have all the kit you could imagine, ready to go, drying rooms, games room and communal rooms. The catered option provides breakfast, lunch and dinner for all your group.
Arete Centre has a fleet of minibuses that can be used for transporting students to venues. All minibuses are serviced appropriately and members of staff are fully qualified.
